A big hello to everyone at home, you are all missed muchly. It's been a month since we've been here and the process of settling in is totally happening. Today McGee is getting corrective lazer eye surgery, so she's going to be eye-patching it for the next 24 hours which promises to be hilarious and life-changing. She won't be able to watch TV or read so I'll be her only source of entertainment as well as assistance in dodging furniture and Londoners. My plans for tonight involve getting a 6 pack of Budweiser (which I've become quite fond of) and playing some World of Warcraft.
This week has been a very special one for the people of this fine city as Posh Spice and David Beckham have finally packed up their stuff and offspring and shipped off to LA where they hope to be as successful at being photographed as they have been here. They sure are very good at doing those things that they are prominently known for doing. Really good, very professional at all of those things. Especially Posh but especially David. People here seem a lot happier already; children have come out of their houses to play for the first time since that song where Posh spice is dancing in the desert was on tv. The relentless rain has come to an abrupt conclusion, the sun is shining and a few newspapers have speculated that Jesus himself will be hitting the town in London tonight to commemorate this most auspicious of occasions.
This weekend promises to be great, I'm finally going to be working on music with my partner in audio-related crimes (with damages that exceed £49.95) Liz, and relaxing lots because it's been a long week. Hope everyone has a great weekend.
